AWARD WINNINERS – A GREAT TASTE AWARD ON EVERY COOKIE ( 2010 & 2011)

Award winning delectable scrumptious handmade cookies for serious chocoholics -better than even mother used to bake! Every Chocoholics dream cookie. What’s more you would never ever realise that they were dairy free or gluten free!

Large soft dark Belgian chocolate cookies packed with huge chunks of chocolate pieces (not your ordinary chocolate chips!) encased in a mouth-watering cookie bursting and brimming with flavour.

These wondrous treats are currently available in five award winning flavours:

• Original double choc choc chip made with oodles of chocolate and big chunky chip pieces of chocolate.
• Orange double choc choc chip made with oodles of chocolate, big chunky chip pieces of chocolate, flavoured with delicious Sicilian oranges.
• Raisin Double choc chip made with oodles of chocolate, big chunky chip pieces of chocolate and delicious plump Californian sunshine raisins.
• Lemon double choc chip made with oodles of chocolate, big chunky chip pieces of chocolate flavoured with Sicilian lemons.
• Orange,cranberries and cinnamon double choc chip made with oodles of chocolate, big chunky chip pieces of chocolate , Sicilian oranges, luscious cranberries and flavoured with an infusion of cinnamon.

And like all our products they are gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, wheat free, kosher  (KLBD-Mehadrin)and vegetarian.

Allergy information: Currently these cookies do include eggs but we are in the process of developing an egg free version.

Absolutely Delicious –n ever had a better cookie! As my 6 year old put it as we ate the double chocolate chip cookie together, “that’s the yummiest cookie in the whole wide world!”
From a dental perspective it is important to note that the sooner a carbohydrate rich food is dissolved from the oral cavity the lesser its cariogenicity (decay forming potential).
As a dentist I can confirm that as these cookies truly do melt in the mouth,thus combining it at the end of balanced nutritious meal need not give rise to concern of formation of tooth decay!

They taste like an amazing chocolate desert and are without doubt the best cookie i have ever tasted. It’s only when I got back to my desk I even realised that they were also dairy and gluten free! Jamaican Coffee			Spice Praline
	From the Blue Mountain ranges of the Caribbean comes the famous Blue Mountain coffee – carefully selected coffee beans are finely ground and then blended with our delicious creamy ganache topped with our charming Caribbean design.			Fresh ground aromatic spices blended with cinnamon sticks and infused into our creamy praline and dark chocolate, encased in a rich dark bitter shell.
Crunchy Ganache
	Creamy ganache blended with oodles of dark bitter chocolate and added sugar granules for an interesting, slightly sweetened crunch, and hand piped into our fun building block ‘LEGO’ style casing.

Pourtoi Artisan is an artisan chocolatier that provides chocolates and cookies that are all lactose and gluten free without comprimising on quality of taste! Already Pourtoi Artisan has won a number of awards, 3 great taste awards in fact : one for their chocolates and 2 for their cookies. With all these awards flying around I was definately looking forward to trying their luxury selection, which has been short listed for a “Free From Foods Award”, with the finals taking place in April.

An interesting aspect I found out after trying them was that Claire’s chocolates only contain about 50% of the sugar that most chocolate makers add, which I didn’t notice when actually trying them – which is obviously a good thing if you’re like me and can easily wade through an entire selection box in an evening.

Pourtoi Selection Box

It’s clear from the outset that this is a quality product. The packaging is simple but elegant, with lusterous, copper-coloured diagrams of cocoa pods on a matt background. The only branding is on the band that holds the box closed – a great feature in itself as it means you can re-use the box after you’ve finished scoffing the chocolates.
